OnePlus 10 Pro was released globally just a day ago. A new update for its super-smooth Oxygen OS 12 has arrived.
The update version is NE2211_11.A.11 for India and NE2213_11.A.12 for the EU. The release is a firmware update that fixes some bugs and does certain optimizations. The changelog is the same for both India and the EU market.
You can also check if your phone is eligible for the update by going to Settings > About Device > Software Update.
Oxygen OS 12 – update A.11/A.12
The OnePlus 10 Pro is running OxygenOS 12.1. Oxygen OS is a OnePlus custom skin on top of Android. It is responsible for OnePlus’ legendary smooth interface and clean design.
The Oxygen 12 update features optimizations in portrait mode. It also improves the focusing speed for solo-mo videos and corrects the white balance for the selfie camera. Other updates also include improvements in the fingerprint recognition algorithm. Some optimizations are also done in gaming performance. Wi-Fi connectivity improvements are part of the update. Finally, the update also includes some other system stability related improvements.
The OnePlus 10 Pro might get Android 13 by the end of this year.
OnePlus 10 Pro
The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip powers the new phone. With a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen of 1440p resolution, the display is similar to that of the OnePlus 9 Pro.
The 10 Pro also has an adaptive refresh rate feature and varies from 1Hz to 120Hz. The display panel is calibrated at 500 nits and 1000 nits. This helps in having better colors at multiple brightness levels.
OnePlus 10 Pro boasts of Hasselblad cameras. A 48 MP Sony IMX789 primary sensor with a 50 MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto forms the back camera setup. The front camera is a 32 MP sensor.
