If you have a RealMe phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor, you will have options to change fingerprint animation under Settings. But some of the RealMe phones like RealMe 8 and a few others have very limited options to change fingerprint animations.
In this blog, we tell you how to have more fingerprint animations and change them on your RealMe phone without any Root access or theme change. Read on to know how.
RealMe UI 3.0 – a must have
Before proceeding with the change, you must confirm if your phone is on RealMe UI 3.0 (i.e. Android 12).
You can check this by going to Settings > About device.

Download this Zip file
Next, you need to download the zip file: RUI3 FP Animations.zip. Here is the download link to the file.

Extract the zip file
Go to File Manager and extract the zip file.

After extracting, you will see a folder as below, with 5 APK files.

Install the APK files
Each APK file is an animation. Install them one by one.

Reboot the phone
Once the files are installed, restart the device.

Change Fingerprint animation
Go to Settings > Personalization > Fingerprint animation. You should now see all the new fingerprint animations that you installed.

You may have already noticed, that all of these animations are similar to the ones on OnePlus devices.
How to remove the animations
If you want to remove any of the animations, go to Settings > Apps > App management. Click on the animation that you want to uninstall and choose Uninstall.

For example, here we remove the Fireworks animation.

That’s it, the fireworks animation is removed.
